Swift Maxi Tenders have all the attributes of the smaller tenders but with larger tubes and bigger horsepower capability. They still have the hand made “Hypalon” tubes and aluminium hulls but the extra waterline length makes the world of difference when you need to carry a few more passengers ashore. At Swift Marine we have not forgotten the primary task of a yacht tender and that is to be light, stable and dry riding which the Maxi does with ease.

Hull and Tube

The hull is 2.5mm chromated and powder coated aluminium with a flat floor and a large water sump underneath. Transoms are strong but light and all lifting and towing points are welded on. The bow is shaped to ease beach landings yet the Maxi tender hull is capable and dry at speed and always engenders confidence even in rough waters. Swift tubes are, like most other parts of the Swift range manufactured in house at our premises on the Gold Coast. They have multiple compartments, flush mount valves and EPDM rubber accessories. The oars stow inside the tube and the there are handling ropes to help boarding lifting or just holding on under way.
